The STACCATO network has held its first industry-academia networking experience at the Coordinator NIBRT’s facilities in Dublin, Ireland. The event included scientific modules and the first BioPharma Focus Event on Recombinant Therapeutic proteins. It was also the first chance for all ESRs to meet in person and to present their individual research projects to each other and the PIs. Next to the scientific and project management modules, the programme also included a visit of the Newgrange heritage site and the Hill of Tara and a night time visit of the Dublin Zoo.
